Straw Maze Part dos!!

Soo I went to the straw maze with my friend Kristina and her roommate Ashley. And it was definitely more haunted this time. (Yikes!)
At the very beginning there was a guy with a chain saw. SCARY! It was right around the first couple of corners so we ran after our first encounter with him. cause we were all linked arms. Ashley pulled Kristina and I straight into a bale of hay. I ate hay and believe me it does NOT taste very good. (glad I'm not a cow!) The monsters this time were definitely more scary. AHH! There was a guy walking around the parking lot with a mask on. We asked him to take our picture or if we could take a picture with him and he said no. :( Kinda sad. But oh well. He chased us out to my truck when we were leaving too. It was kinda funny. I got stuck cause I climbed in the passenger side and I couldn't move! haha. and he stood at the driver's side window and just knocked on it. I couldn't turn around to look at him so I honked the horn trying to get him to go away! haha. It was funny!

We were tired so we took a nap at the end.
Awww! We're sooo cute! :) haha. we had a ton of fun and are planning to go again.

A Random Night

So tonight was kinda random to say the least. haha.

1st thing- I went and hung out with my old roommate Chelsea. She's married and I haven't seen her since August so it was fun to hang out and talk with her again.

2nd thing- I went to Caroline's birthday bash! Woo! Yay for turning 21!! Pretty much right after I got there my friend Mandy called me. So I didn't get to stay for long. :(

3rd thing- So Mandy called me and asked me if I wanted to go on a date and I said sure! Her boyfriend and one of their friends had come up this weekend. His name was Jacob and he was a lot of fun. We went to Rexburg's Straw Maze. Little did we know until after we'd gotten tickets that it was haunted. Ahh! I usually stay away from stuff like that, just because I'm way easily spooked. So I decided I was going to hang on to my date and that made me feel better. haha. I'm silly I know! Well we went through the maze. And we had a few scary monsters pop out of nowhere. There were a couple of strobe lights and right around those a monster would jump out of the straw or from around a corner. Some of the monsters followed us. creeepy! but hey I had Jacob's arm to hang on. So I wasn't tooo scared. There are 2 monsters I don't think I'll forget anytime soon. The first one was either a dog with something on it's face or a person who was down really low. But whatever it was it was wayyy creepy. We had a hard time getting Mandy to walk past it. It was kinda funny. Then the 2nd one was there was this guy that was on top of the hay and he had a cane or plastic sword or something. He was wearing a trenchcoat and a cowboy hat. And he kept hitting whatever he was holding against the hay making noise. That creeped me out. Especially when he kept running around you. I'm pretty sure he kept jumping across the rows. But they weren't that big so he could. It took us about 45 minutes to go through the maze. :) After that we went bowling and went to Jack in the Box. It was a lot of fun.

Update!

I turned in my Social Work Application on Friday October 2nd! Wahoo!! That was a frustrating week for me! Boo! Haha.

So pray for me!! And cross your fingers and wish me luck!

I'll find out sometime this semester, probably before thanksgiving if I've been accepted or not. :)

Time for a Change

Well it was going to happen sooner or later... haha.
I dyed my hair! It's only a few shades darker. The first pic is of what it looks like now and the second is what it looked like this summer.

Crazy Summer Nights

I'm naming this post crazy summer nights because most of the stuff I'm going to be talking about happened at night. :)

1st thing: I have an awesome new roommate Celeste. We get along really well and do a lot of stuff together. We go on a lot of really long walks around Rexburg.

2nd thing: I joined a soccer team! haha. It was a lot of fun. Even though we only had 2 games and 1 practice. It was my roommate, 4 random guys and me. The guys were Hammond(our coach!), Blake, Austin, Taylor... and I can't remember the other guy's name cause I only met him once. It technically was futsal cause the fields were super small and yeah. We won our first game and lost our 2nd. So not tooo bad. :) We just didn't go to the tournament. I wasn't too sad because I'm horrible but I try. I usually got hit by the ball. My roommate would aim for me when we were practicing. haha. And in the 2nd game I got hit in the stomach, that wasn't fun.

3rd thing: Bowling. haha. Celeste and I went bowling with Blake and Hammond and one of their roommates. and it was a lot of fun. We played 2 games and for the 2nd one we did skittle bowling. :) That was a lot of fun!

4th thing: So I was going to go to bed the other night and I had been talking to my roommate Celeste. She wasn't tired and so she was teasing me that she wasn't going to let me go to bed. I told her I was going to ignore her if she did anything. I went in my room and it was almost 1. SO I really wanted to go to bed. Then all of a sudden I heard her vacuuming right outside my door. It was pretty funny.

Those are the specific things I wanted to talk about this post. But a lot of fun times have happened the past month. :)

My job starts on Monday. Woohoo! And school starts a week from tomorrow. I'm excited! It'll be nice to actually have something that needs to be done.

This little boy is soooo cute. I've tried to get a video of him doing what he is doing for the first 3 seconds of the video for a really long time. That's all you really need to watch cause the rest is just silly stuff. haha. :)
