Relation to Cousin It?

It isn't every day that I wake up looking like I am related to Cousin It from the Addam's Family. (thank goodness for brushes and straighteners!!! haha)

So these two cups used to be the same color... I do not know when they stopped being the same color... Ever since I have unpacked them they were different colors. Weird, I know. No one has died drinking out of the blueish colored cup yet. So I think it is harmless. (if you know of anything poisonous that made this cup blue and that no one should drink out of it... please tell me immediately. :])

Do you like all my wonderful lists? :) The yellow ones are the things I have to get done within the next week. It's going to be busy! Hopefully it all gets done... It will. Cause I have to do them all! NO excuses!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

I'm so thankful for my parents getting married in the temple 37 years ago! I wouldn't be here without them. ;)

Just Another Sunset on Another Day

It was raining the other night and the clouds just seemed to open when the sun started to set and it was really pretty.  I have to say I love how the colors in this picture turned out. I didn't edit this picture at all.

This is a view from my apartment complex.  The sky was just really pretty colors.

Once again I just really liked the color of the sky. :)

I helped!

I helped at the blood drive on campus. :) So I made a small difference. I checked people in and told them what to do before their appointment started. Haha. It was a good experience, I like helping out with stuff like this.

Lions and Tigers and Bears! Oh my!

My roommates and I decided to go to the Tautphaus Park Zoo in Idaho Falls yesterday.

 We mainly went because the admission was only 75 cents. (hey! we're poor college students.) It was fun. It was kinda small but still provided some fun for us.

Penguins! When we walked up to their exhibit, both of these penguins were in the water. The poor things had such hard times getting out! We were excited to watch them get out. I thought they were adorable.

Epic Moment of Today

My roommates and I have been playing the volkswagen game lately. (ps I am terrible at it!) So today my one roommate Mary forgot to take something to work so I said I would bring it to her.  My other roommate Sarah tagged along. So we were driving down the road we stopped at a stoplight and Sarah punched me while saying black one! And I said where?! Sarah responded saying right next to us. haha. We both started laughing cause it reminded us of the Volkswagen commercials with similar conversations happening. So I guess the Volkswagen ad campaign did it's job, since we remembered the ad.

A Tribrute to Max

To some this picture is just of a barbecue. To some this picture means absolutely nothing.  But to me it means a lot. Underneath the barbecue is my old dog Max. This is in my sister's backyard over the 4th of July weekend 2009.  He was so hot that the only shade he could find and still be as close as he could to me was underneath that barbecue. I just remember how excited I was when I got to Michelle's house and I immediately ran to the back gate saying Max! Max! Max! and how excited he was to see me. He was such a wonderful loving dog. Oh how I miss that dog. He is frequently mentioned to people still. I hope that whoever he is with now is taking good care of him and loving him as much as I did. I know that he LOVES whoever he's with and is a wonderful dog for them too.
I will never forget him.

Talk About Crazy

Starting from the beginning, on the first day of classes for the summer session this girl sat next to me in my first class. So we make the usual small talk for example what's your name, where are you from sort of thing. I found out she was from Texas and we decide that we're Texas buddies. Then we found out we have 2 classes together so we always talk about homework and such.  We're the same age too, which is pretty awesome.

So today we were walking through campus and I pointed to the dorm where I used to live. And it turns out that she lived in the same dorm as I did the semester that I moved off campus. I asked her if she knew my friend Zinah and Larissa cause they would have been in her ward and she said she did. Then I said I used to be their Relief Society President and she said I did too! Kinda crazy that we have so many parallels!

Then I went to be friends with her on Facebook, and she knows my cousins from Dallas, a couple of random people from up here, and someone I knew in high school! I just couldn't believe how crazy it was!

I'm always hoping for rain

It was raining the other day and it was absolutely gorgeous outside! I was sitting in my room and this is the view I saw from my window so I hurried outside to go take some snapshots of the beautiful clouds. :) I love rain and I'm constantly hoping for rain (....except for when it rains for the whole month of June...)  It has a couple times since I've been back and that has made me a very happy girl. (it's supposed to rain tonight... and I'm so excited.)

Cute Kid

I have an awesome aunt who lets me play with her cell phone. But than steals it from me when she gets a new text message or phone call.

The drive is BORING! I'm going to take a nap. and be adorable. ha!

Whiteboard

My roommate Mary put a whiteboard on the wall. We each have a section of the board and it's fun to write notes to each other. :)

This is what my section says right now. I got a sunburn so I hate sunburns. And last night my door randomly opened while I was just laying on my bed. (it scared me!) So Mary wrote: "Look at the bright side! A sun burn will become a tan and being scared every once in a while is good for your heart!" It made me smile when I came home from class and saw that. My roommates are awesome! :)

Lake adventure

My roommates and I decided to go the lake at the sand dunes today. It is such a cool lake because you can walk all the way across it! (so much for it being a lake, maybe a pond?  It's called a lake... I don't know what classifies a body of water as a lake...)  But anyway, it was fun to go out there with my roomies and just have fun.
