Baby it's cold outside!

So today I went to my American Foundations class at 5 to 8. I noticed that it was pretty cold when I walked out. A girl in my group informed me that it was -20 degrees when we went to class. When I got back from class it was -18 degrees. I'm totally serious. Yeah the cold does unpleasant things to you which I'm sure you will not want me to inform you of.
Luckily I haven't gotten frostbite yet, I don't go outside unless absolutely necessary. :)
Oh yeah right now at 3:15 in the afternoon it is 4 degrees and feels like -4.
Yay for cold weather. ;)
I am slightly complaining about the weather. Another thing I might add is that even though I'm completely shocked at how cold it is when I see the temperature. It doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. The only thing I really really don't like is all the slush from the snow. :P And there's a lot of it.

It's gone...

It's official. My computer will not turn on. :( It's so sad!! I am currently hoping the help desk or my dad will be able to copy all my files off my hard drive. That would be marvelous. But luckily I have an amazing Dad who is helping me get a new computer. I'll be getting a new one this week! So I'm pretty happy. Not that I absolutely hate going to the computer lab on campus or anything.... Well I kinda do. I hate having to walk through all the slush on campus. I like to be able to be at my own apartment working on my hw.

No Computer....

So yesterday I accidently spilt water on my computer.... and it got soaked. :( So I have no computer. Which for a college student is a bad thing. It's my lifeline. I use it for homework, for my calling, and for email. I was lucky enough that my friend lent me her computer so I could do my homework last night. Homework is especially hard because most of it is on the internet. So it's not like I can get by without my computer for a few days. It's so depressing!! I never realized just how much I lean on my computer. So here I am sitting in the computer lab under the library. And I'm just praying my computer dries out and works again!! I miss it!!!

A Little Crazy...

So today I got a call from the UPS man saying he had a package for my roommate and he needed someone to come get it. So i ran down to the lounge to get it. I have to go outside to get to my lounge and yeah it was 25 degrees? Yeah I ran there in a short sleeve t-shirt. I wasn't even very cold. So I'm a little crazy.

So there is a story behind me taking all these pictures... I couldn't sleep last night. I went to bed at midnightish. Then when I was half way asleep my mom texted me saying "Are you home? Are you in bed?"(I had been walking around campus earlier. But that within itself is another story) I almost ignored it. Then I would have been in a ton of trouble.  But yeah I texted back saying yes.  Then after that I couldn't fall asleep.  My roommate's clock beeps on the hour.  I heard every one until 3? Then I woke up again and couldn't go back to sleep again. Frustration! So at about 5:20 I decided to just get out of bed.  I started getting ready for the day. Right then I had a brilliant idea of taking pics of the temple at sunrise!  It seemed pretty smart to me because Rexburg has amazing sunrises and sunsets! I love them!! So I went out in the cold and took pictures. I gave up before the sun actually rose but I still got some cool pics. :) Enjoy.

I was lying on the ground for the next 2 pictures. It wasn't even that cold. (Can you believe me?? saying it's not that cold. 20s? Not that cold.... I know that's what I'm thinking.  But it really wasn't that cold.)

I don't know why but I just love the tree in the next one.  I didn't realize I had focused so well on the tree until I was looking through the pics of which ones I wanted to put up.

This is what I saw when I walked into my apartment complex last night.  I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get to my door. But the sidewalks and stairs were clear. (That's my door by the light by the way.)
